Most of the fish we begin to catch with frequency are similarly sized.
The smaller percentage are the occasional larger fish.
At night I believe the chances of a larger fish capture is more possible.
This is because strict shoaling to size behavior is adhered to during the
day. Fish do shoal at night, as I have video of them doing that; but the
larger fish are more confident to feed and I believe all fish open their
ranks in a wider pattern at night. The larger fish are more reclusive and
solitary in behavior. If the fish you begin to catch are too small, move
elsewhere. That may necessitate moving not just the swim, but to another
water.
