We were out in the boat doing some cruising. Water weed at this time of year is exceptionally overgrown. Most of the favored locations were poor choices because long casts over weed beds grown ten to fifteen feet from the bottom were not in our favor. You need to know your bottom this time of year. I did well hooking up with snowman pop-ups on hinged rigs.
