We didn't pull any thirties this trip but caught a good deal of fish like Mike is showing.. I had a rod pod nearly jerked into the water and my bait runner was on. I would have liked to get that fish but he was aided by zebra mussels and the line was cut clean. I lost a lot of fish as we were fishing upon a shelf that led to deep water and zebras cut my line a little more than usual. That feature was not evident at night but was obvious in mornings daylight. A few feet to the left and the edge of the shelf was clean and weed grown with no zebra mussel cut offs. That is where Mike was fishing and he had no cut offs that night. That is all part of the small details that you learn about each swim.
